![]() ![]() In her role as Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) at the Faculty of Education and Human Development, Professor Tang has spearheaded the Faculty’s Leaders of Learning scheme. Professor Tang has extensive experience in the field of tertiary teaching and has taught in undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, Master of Education and Doctor of Education programmes as well as professional development programmes for teachers and school principals in the areas of teacher education and development and qualitative approaches to educational research. She began working in teacher education at the Northcote College of Education and has been a long-serving member of The Education University of Hong Kong. She obtained her PhD at the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK.īefore working in teacher education, Professor Tang was a secondary school teacher in Hong Kong. Professor Sylvia Tang graduated from The University of Hong Kong and received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Distinction) and a Master of Education. Work-life role interaction Associate Heads She shares her interest with similar enthusiasm for translating knowledge in these areas into leadership development and school improvement. ![]() Her research projects have been funded by highly competitive grant schemes such as Early Career Scheme and General Research Fund of the Research Grant Council of Hong Kong. She is fascinated with studying emerging phenomena in school leadership teams, leadership development, as well as factors enabling teacher collaboration and innovation. LU Jiafang earned her PhD in Applied Psychology from Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Policy and Leadership (EPL) and Associate Director (Change Research and Development Programmes) for the Joseph Lau Luen Hung Charitable Trust Asia Pacific Center for Leadership and Change (APCLC), The Education University of Hong Kong. ![]()
